A Fun & Faithful Program for Children and Youth to Master Qur’anic Recitation

Al Baseerah Academy utilizes Tajweed Gamification, a process that incorporates game-based elements and techniques to enhance engagement, interactivity, and enjoyment in learning and practicing Tajweed (Qur’anic pronunciation rules), particularly among children and young people.

Goals of Tajweed Gamification

• Reinforce proper pronunciation rules (e.g., Ikhfa, Idgham, Qalqala)
• Encourage consistent practice
• Reward mastery and progress
• Make learning collaborative or competitive in a healthy way

Tools We Use to Support This

• Canva/Google Slides for printable cards and boards
• Quizizz or Kahoot for live competitions
• Scratch (custom game development)
• ClassDojo (behavior/effort points system)
