Extra-Curriculars
Alongside the classroom curriculum, Al Baseerah Academy runs clubs and competitions that give students a reason to practise outside lesson time — and something to work towards.
Surah Club
A regular club where students read, memorize and reflect on selected Surahs together.
Qur’anic Arabic Spelling Bee
A spelling competition built on Quranic Arabic vocabulary, turning vocabulary practice into something students look forward to.
Qiraat Competition
A recitation competition where students present what they have learned, judged on accuracy, Tajweed and fluency.
Quran Memorization Competition
A memorization competition recognising students who have committed portions of the Quran to memory.
Tajweed Gamification
Tajweed practice through games and challenges, so the rules of recitation are learned by doing.
Curriculum
The four graded subjects taught from Pre-K through Grade 8: Quran, Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic Studies and Seerah.
