Qiraat Challenge

The Qiraat Competition is a highly anticipated event at Al-Baseerah Academy, offering students the opportunity to showcase their Qur’an recitation skills with proper Tajweed, clarity, and meaning. This is more than just a recitation contest; it is a celebration of excellence in Qur’anic understanding and delivery.

Purpose

Our goal is to encourage students to develop a deep connection with the Qur’an by:

• Mastering the rules of Tajweed
• Understanding the meaning and message of the Surah
• Strengthening their Qur’anic Arabic translation skills

Evaluation Criteria

Participants will be tested on the following three pillars:

1. Tajweed – Proper pronunciation and application of rules
2. Translation – Understanding the meaning of selected verses
3. Surah Message – Explaining the core theme or message of the Surah

Awards & Recognition

Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and special recognition during our school assembly. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Registration

Registration is required to participate in the Qiraat Competition. Details and registration forms will be shared via the Principal’s email.
