Qur’an Memorization Challenge

Join us for Al-Baseerah Academy’s annual Qur’an Challenge, our official memorization competition that celebrates student achievement in Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, and fluency. This event provides an uplifting and encouraging environment for all students to grow spiritually and academically through the Book of Allah.

Who Can Participate?

• All Al-Baseerah students (Pre-K to Grade 12)
• Grouped by grade and ability level
• No prior competition experience required

Judging Criteria

• Tajweed Accuracy: Proper articulation and rule application
• Memorization: Word-perfect and fluent recitation
• Melody: Voice tone and rhythm
• Presentation: Confidence and presence

Awards & Recognition

• Trophies and medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each group
• Certificates of participation for all students
• Recognition during the school assembly
