Curriculum
Al Baseerah Academy teaches four subjects, each with its own graded curriculum from Pre-K through Grade 8. Every subject sets out learning objectives, classroom activities and how students are assessed at each stage.
All four are taught at both campuses — Saturday School in Streamwood and Sunday School in Barrington.
Quran
Recitation, memorization and Tafsir — so that students understand what they read, not only recite it.

The rules of recitation, taught in graded steps from letter sounds and articulation through to mastery.

Arabic
Reading, writing and grammar, with vocabulary built deliberately toward understanding the Quran.

Islamic Studies and Seerah
The life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Islamic beliefs, values and ethics for daily life.
